The conversation was something like:

Guy: Prof, do you have the power of the ninjas?
Professor: *stares silently* ... I don't think we watch the same cartoons.
 
He was awesome.
He would write down a quadratic equation, look at it for a couple of seconds and say "Well, it's clear that the solutions are 16/19 and 5/9".
