"Who Wants to be an Engineer?" segment
« on: May 01, 2014, 09:33:17 AM »
A few episodes ago, the Technically Speakers kicked off a new segment they dubbed "Who Wants to be an Engineer?" which was dedicated to highlighting different disciplines within engineering. I was hoping to suggest a future such segment focusing on biomechanics. I recently did an interview for my campus radio show in which I interviewed my adviser on this very subject (specifically biomechatronics and haptics) which is available here episode 009. (incredibly self-serving, I know).

Biomechanics is one of those fields that, even as an engineering student, I didn't know existed until recently and now I find totally fascinating. It would be a nice change from Technically Speaking's normal (albeit wonderful) subject matter. I could even help you get in contact with someone to interview if you'd like.

Thanks for the great show, I really enjoy it.
